Welcome to New Life Church. We are the English extension of Église Nouvelle Vie in the city of Longueuil, within the greater Montreal area.
New Life Church is more than a physical location; it is a community with open arms, offering a warm “Welcome Home” to all. We invite you to join us on this incredible journey together. Hi, I’m Selvin Cortez, serving as pastor of New Life Church in Longueuil. Since 2004, my wife Kelly and I have shared a beautiful marriage, blessed with three amazing children: David, Matthew, and Grace.
From the outset of our relationship, we have always believed this was the path God was leading us towards and as we look back we can see how He certainly has “worked all things for good”. Kelly has steadfastly believed in God’s plan for our family, particularly recognizing His calling on my life. She is the driving force behind our family, tirelessly supporting and embodying the vision that God has laid out for us. I am tremendously excited for what God will do next in all our lives. New Life Church embodies the essence of a sanctuary—a place to receive the ultimate gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. It is also a community committed to sharing that gift by serving one another. Here, we gather to exalt the name of Jesus, providing an environment where children can flourish, youth can thrive in their creativity and energy, and young adults discover meaning and truth. Families, both young and seasoned, can find unwavering support, and it’s a place where the wisdom of our seniors is celebrated.
